We’re absolutely delighted to announce that the Blackpool Polar Bears have now reached their £5k target to ensure athlete Charlotte Foster competes for Team GB in the Special Olympics in June.
She will travel with coach Emma Inglis and club founder, Lynda Inglis to Berlin in June after smashing gold at the recent Hull Gala in the 25 metre back-stroke event.
Hamilton Director, Daniel Mackie, visited her at her workplace earlier this year, Highfurlong Special School in Blackpool, to tell her, and Headteacher Neill Oldham, that we will be helping in any way we can.
