Works at Manor Court in Weybridge, Surrey, are progressing well, with the project now approximately 80% complete.
Hamilton is delivering the external façade works in partnership with Axis, furthering the refurbishment of this residential development as part of the wider improvement programme on site.
Since works commenced in January last year, Hamilton has been responsible for the full external façade package across all three blocks, focusing on durable installation, quality control and coordinated progress in collaboration with Axis and the wider project team.
The Hamilton scope of works to date includes:
- Removal of existing render
- Application of parge coat
- Installation of EWI
- Application of base coat, mesh and fire pins
- Application of second coat and primer
- Final silicone top coats in two colours
Alongside the main façade installation, associated works completed include external mastic around windows, SFS and CP boarding, installation of cappings and window sills.
Current status
Prior to the Christmas break, the majority of upper floors across all blocks had been completed, with the overall scheme standing at around 80% completion. Progress remains weather-dependent, but favourable forecast conditions indicate the remaining stages are expected to be completed sooner than initially anticipated.
What’s next
In the coming period, our focus will be on progressing the remaining floors across all buildings. With most façade stages already applied to upper elements, the primary remaining activity is the application of the final top coat.
Following top coat application and scaffolding removal, attention will turn to completing the ground floor and plinth works, marking the project’s final delivery stages.
