Hamilton is proud to announce that we were the winners of the Wates ‘Safer Together Award’ for August. Our Site Team are working on the Wythenshawe Towers EWI project carrying out the rendering works. It was identified during a routine site visit that whilst ‘the team’ were working well to complete the external rendering, their outer clothes had become contaminated with the mixed render which is not in line with Wates Visual Standard Del-326 SCPS (Subcontractors Work Wear) and Del-908 Visual Standard (Wates Staff Work Wear). As the render cannot be cleaned easily from clothing it was suggested that the operatives would benefit from wearing a disposable type of overalls to keep their own clothes clean. After some research, Robbie Martin our Site Manager obtained the TYVEK® Classic Xpert by DuPont which offers superior protection, ergonomics and comfort.
