As a prominent local landmark, its refurbishment has been a significant project for the London Borough of Hackney.

Contracted by EQUANS and working in partnership with Hull City Council, Hamilton was tasked with the installation of Wetherby Wall Systems’ Stone Wool Insulation.

Cladding on The Link building, which lies on one of London’s busiest arterial routes, was identified as non-compliant with regulations in the wake of the Grenfell Tower tragedy. Sitting across from the Moorfields Eye Hospital, which is the country’s biggest and oldest eye care hospital, The Link is a mixed-use development with retail premises, offices and residential apartments.

Located in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, which is dubbed the creative and urban heart of the city, Vantage Quay was identified as having unsafe cladding in the wake of the Grenfell disaster.
It was agreed that there was a need to undertake works to address the inadequacy of the external cladding system, timber trellis and associated insulation.
