First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) committed £2.6m to refurbishing its high-rise properties Littlemoor House and Montgomery House. The investment made the 1970s buildings more energy efficient and compliant with the very latest fire safety regulations, as well as bringing the tower blocks’ aesthetics right up to date.

Hamilton acted as main contractor for this safety critical project on a six-story residential building in Bolton town centre.

The front and rear elevations featured timber cladding from floors one to five. Timber clad steel sliding sunscreens were also installed to all balconies.

Hamilton was selected by Bowmer & Kirkland to undertake the design, supply and installation of a clay brick-slip facade to two new-build blocks, which were part of an overall re-development of St Vincent’s Church in Sheffield City centre.
